7.1 Squarespace Error with Hyperlinks, dissapearing after linked text

Hello Circle Community,

I'm running into a bug/error with Squarespace 7.1 which I haven't had before. Anytime I use a Href code or a hyperlink text function, it makes my text go invisible. It's not even highlightable. Pictures for example.

Common mistakes people assume:

1. The text is the same color as the background: My color of my hyperlink text is black, background is white, and I even if I try highlighting, it doesn't show
2. Have you tried coding href?: Yes I have, same issue.
3. Have you tried using hyperlink via Squarespace content editor: Yes I have, same issue.
4. Have you double checked your colors?: Yes I have.
5. Is this site wide error, or just in the footer?: It is a site wide error. My temporary solution was to hyperlink with buttons where needed (ugly I know, but it is decent for the mean time)

Please let me know if you need any other context! I tried messaging squarespace regarding this error, but couldn't find the section to do so.

I have recently had this problem on some client's sites. I guess the problem came from Global Animation feature.

Add this to Home > Desing > Custom CSS

a.preClip {
    clip-path: unset;
}

I added the css to my site as you described, but it didn't work.  My hyperlink text is still the wrong color.  This is only happening when the hyperlink is in the caption of an image.

Hi, was this issue fixed? I'm having the same problem and I can't figure it out. I tried the line of code and that didn't do anything.
