Missing Email Submissions

I regularly get notifications via the Squarespace app saying that someone has subscribed to my newsletter but the email is not added to my list. I have storage set up for both Squarespace and Mail Chimp, but the addresses of these subscribers never appear. I am still receiving some subscribers, but quite a few have never materialised. Does anyone have any insight that they could share on this please?

Hi Clare, i am having the same issue. I'm a new user and setting up a newsletter. Some subscribers are coming through but some are not. I cant explain it or find any help on this. Did you fix your problem?

I believe this is because subscribers have to confirm their email address. Subscribers will not appear in your list until they have clicked confirm in the automated email. You can still capture their email address by adding google sheets as a storage option, but without confirmation, emails may end up being marked as spam. Hope that helps!
