Harris: Primary Nav Folder drop down text color

I'm trying to make the text in the drop-down folder menu black but can't seem to get the custom CSS correct. 

I either want the text to be black. Or I want the background on just the text to turn red like my header. I'd like to view both options to make my decision. Let me know if you need any info that is missing!

Here's the color of my red header: #6e1326

Add this to Home > Design > cu

.subnav {
    background: red !important;
}

Thanks! The "!important" was important for making it work. That's allowed me to freely make all of the adjustments I want.
