Banner image focal point adjustment

When I have parallax scrolling enabled and the focal point set on the main subject of the image, some banner images don't display the banner properly, especially if the main subject is close to the bottom of the image, causing it to get cut off - this happens on desktop. However, when I view the site on my phone (or I narrow the browser on my desktop) it displays properly. How can I fix this?
