Concerning the Header Design

Question

Posted (edited)

Hello,

I hope this is the right place for this. I'm in a little conundrum with the design of the header on my site, since my HTML and CSS skills are barely beginner level. I'd like my current header (the one just below) to look somewhat like the second image. The header links are a little boring looking the way they are, and I'd like a long horizontal white line that defines the header clearly. I'd also like a search bar in the header, and to have it look somewhat like the one in the second image. I'm also using the Barbosa template, if I remember correctly.

Thanks.

1. You want to add line betweens Navigation items?

2. SS 7.1 doesn't support search in Header. You can try using jQuery to move Search bar from Footer to Header.

1. If possible, yes. In particular I am more interested in adding that long horizontal line that's just below the 'Secondhand' and 'Contact' links, the one that extends from one side of the page to the other.

2. The search bar is of no concern now, as I've added a search bar lower down on the page which I like.

Regards
