Marjorie-Mr Posted March 28, 2020 Share Posted March 28, 2020 Site URL: http://www.morrow-studio.com Hello everybody, I have multiple questions about the new Squarespace platform, I can't find some tool anymore.. - Is it not possible to create an “index” section anymore, is it? - How can we now link a section in a page layout as we cannot manage the section anymore?For example, I have a banner, one block of text, one block of banner again and then an other block of text and I would like to add a jump-to anchor links to the last one but cannot anymore with the new Squarespace platform as only the page is appearing in the main navigation (because we don't have the possibility to create an index file anymore..) - Is it not possible to create a cover page anymore too? - Finally, I would like to know if it is possible to add a button “know more" or "read more” and see a section appearing (see link of a website below using this method > brand messaging > learn more > bellow a text is appearing, and same for brand styling > learn more. https://thekdesignco.com/services/branding/ Thank you for your help! derricksrandomviews Posted March 28, 2020 Share Posted March 28, 2020 Cover page is gone in 7.1 and no css is going fix that so I am still with 7.0. Jump links and buttons can be made using CSS, there are many threads about that here, But in my opinion, 7.1 is brine without the pickles, the good stuff, so I just stick with 7.0. For now. You need to use JavaScript + CSS to do this. + Create the Brands section, then use CSS to hide it. + Create button and apply click event to the button + Set class to display the brand section again Email me if you have need any help (free, of course.).
