How to Display Full Post in Summary Block/

I am trying to figure out how to display a Summary Block with the FULL post - instead of just the excerpt. I am trying to create a landing page that features the most recent post from a blog in its entirety. 

Is there some code for this? I am on the Bedford template. TIA

Just post the whole post as an excerpt in the post options/setting,  put the post in its own summary block, and turn off the read more button for that block. This is also a way to have a two-column blog with whole posts side by side.

My issue here is that you can't include images in the excerpt box (as far as I can tell). Do you have a  work around for that? Thanks!

When I said post the whole post in the excerpt field, I meant all the text, images can't go there. The summary block will still pick up your main featured image from the blog post settings/content tab. Look at my "blog" which is made up of summary blocks here:
