Liquid Gas Supplier Site: Ideas for Improvement? (Brine Template)

Recommended Posts

Site URL: https://badische-rheingas.de

Dear community!

I've designed a new page for my client under https://badische-rheingas.de. I am using the BRINE template.  I am very grateful for general site feedback! Including but not limited to:

  • Feedback/suggestions on header stlye and hierarchy (lot of content!)
  • How do I avoid the thin grey line between header and body of the site??
  • Should I reduce photography on my site, is it too cluttered
  • Any ideas on the mobile view?
  • Any ideas how to reduce the javascript size (testing shows it makes the site slow, besides some still too large images...)
  • AOB

All (positive or negative) feedback by you is highly valued!

Thanks very much in advance!

Marco

The number one suggestion I have is to reduce the empty white space. Brine tends to throw too much of that by default. I have two brine sites and I had to tweak em quite a bit to get the pages in the index to tighten up. People are impatient they don't want to scroll that much (they also don't like to click that much either and they really don't like to read much at all)  so images are very good to have. When it comes to websites, pictures are worth over 10,000 words.

Here is a couple of brine sites, they were built for the same owner of two companies, with some minor differences but maybe you can take some ideas from them. By the way the sites (up until the world went to hell in a handbasket) were doing great, business up 40 percent over last year. They can track that the sites are actually bringing in customers, their old button loaded site, lots of verbiage was not. One other thing, I see that you have a logo and put it on your site as a favicon which shows up on the browser tab instead of the Squarespace "borg" cube or the SS logo. That's good. Its your site, not theirs. I don't have a problem with a link to them in the footer. Quite the opposite, their health is related to ours.
