How do I transfer a trial between two users/accounts?

Not merging - moving from my account to other persons account.

Never tried to transfer a trial only a live site, but if it can be done, I would assume you start with the transfer option in settings.

You can transfer a trial between accounts by adding the person you want to transfer the trial to as a contributor to that trial. Make sure that you assign them Admin permissions, when inviting them as a contributor. Once the person has accepted the contributor invitation, you can then transfer ownership of the site to them. They can then remove your contributor profile from the site, if they would like to. Check these Squarespace help articles for further details:
