2210
Hi all - I work with a major film festival, and we're looking for a way to put the festival online. Not just that - but also to launch a subscription-based service where members can access our films for a set monthly fee. Given videos are only embeddable in Squarespace - do you think it's still viable to build a film streaming service using the platform? Thank you. Link to comment
derricksrandomviews
Nope, you would need to use a streaming hosting service like Vimeo to host the video. Squarespace can be the promotional/preview site for sure. Edited January 28, 2021 by derricksrandomviews Link to comment
derricksrandomviews
This is not something that can be solved, if you are referring to "hositng" videos on Squarespace. It is not desinged to do so. However to use vimeo or youtube or others to host videos and embed then in your site on SS that works well. Edited January 28, 2021 by derricksrandomviews Link to comment
