Guest
Site URL: http://www.fact-investigations.be Hi there, I created and published my website about three weeks ago. It is indexed by Google, and I have Google Search Console. I receive Google Alerts on keywords that are also used on my website. The thing that worries me is that a new competitor's website (wordpress) showed up in my Google Alert, but my site didn't. I have followed steps to improve SEO (alt texts etc) and I know it also takes time, but I'm afraid I'm missing something obvious that caused my website not be noticed in the right way by Google.. Thanks, Goedele Link to comment
NikkiMannong
I'm experiencing this same issue with a site I designed for a client! I applied all of the SEO tips so I'm not sure what I'm missing. Im anxious to see if anyone can shed some light on this. Link to comment
JOHNMD
You've many simple things happening. On your home page the first two text links are broken and many links further down the home page. You need to fix these immediately - you've many broken links on several pages. From a user perspective you appear to have little information spread over many pages. I suggest to strengthen your site and SEO you lead with your professional credentials, your areas of business in list format and your business coverage area and examples. So, first h1 title - one text line intro - list - below list approach and broaden details. Put a photo on right/left and a contact form - make sure you credentials are displayed. cut your pages down by two. mcgouran.john@gmail.com Link to comment
