I´d love to move over my website to squarespace. As I´m not experienced with the editor in squarespace I´d love to hear from you if the portfolio / website I´ve built could also be possible to create in Squarespace. As a photographer especially the gallery function is crucial. It should be lightweight, reliable (also on mobile), responsive etc. Many thanks in advance for your support. Best Andy Link to comment
Guest Posted March 6, 2020 Share Posted March 6, 2020 Hi Andy - I'm in process of moving over from Wix as well (if I can figure out font upload). From my evaluation so far, Squarespace appears to have the same ease of use in terms of website design but functionality wise it adds gift vouchers and then more e-commerce funcationality (upsell & crosssell options). I think Wix has been great for getting started but I think to expand, Squarespace is the way to go. (I also looked at Shopify but that's very e-commerce focused and, as a savvy IT user but non-techie, I found the design elements not as intuitive). Hope that helps. Link to comment
