Add a shadow behind text on Image Block: Poster - Custom CSS

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I am using Image Blocks (Posters) on a new website. The title text over the image is white, which is a bit hard to read when the images below have white parts in them (i.e. like clouds). This is really easy to solve by adding a dark shadow to the white text.

Squarespace does not offer a standard option for adding a shadow to that text, so I have to do it with custom CSS. I have been trying to do it for a long time, so I thought I would tap into your wisdom! Here is a screenshot of the kind of images I am using. Would you be able to help me, please? 🙂
