External User Management (SSO)

I'm evaluating Squarespace as a potential product, but I don't see any type of native integration with an external user management system through OAuth2, SAML 2.0, or LDAP.

Has anyone implemented an external SSO provider, and if so, what was your experience? From what I can tell, Sqsp is a fairly simple SPA, so I feel like integrating SSO should be straightfoward, but I'm not 100% sure as I'm still evaluating the product.

What direction did you end up going? I built client sites almost exclusively on Squarespace but now have a need for user management and I don't know where to start

Ah, yes. I use Memberspace already for another client, but I'm looking for more than just secure access. I posted yesterday about it!

I think SSO integration should be provided with Identity Providers, many of us have users in different IdPs, so it would be great if Squarespace thinks for Single Sign On and makes it easy for us and users to log in . Hoping for Single Sign On integration soon from Squarespace.

The only solution I have found for this is through OneLogin (SSO provider that created a Squarespace workaround), but it still requires the user to download a browser extension, so it's not really a viable solution for external clients/customers: https://www.onelogin.com/connector/squarespace  A native SSO option is really needed...
