Faustas
Hello, I'm using Bedford template and currently trying to upload a lot of stock on to my website. Everything is fine, except I have this really frustrating thing, where I would copy an item description for example it would be written down like so - "Antique French 18kt white gold ladies tennis bracelet with diamonds. Made in France Circa 1940. Tested positive for 18kt gold. Dimensions - Weight : 10 grams Bracelet Length x Width : 17.5 x 0.8 cm Diamonds - Cut : Round Number of diamonds : 100 Total Weight : Approx 4.68 ct Clarity : SI1 Colour : G Condition : Pre-owned, no damage, excellent condition, please see pictures." I would like to copy and paste it and have it exactly as it is written above. However, when I attempt to do so, it pastes which huge gaps / spacing in between each line. Solutions that I have tried - Paste as Plain Text - Ends up either pasting everything as one paragraph, or just pastes with huge spacing. Copy and paste into microsoft word and remove formatting, and remove the spacing - once I copy the text and paste it again, I have the same issue. I have looked at the guides on squarespace, and tried them all, I have not found a solution. Only problem is I have approximately 1000 pieces of stock to upload, and the only thing that currently works is deleting each space manually, then re-entering the spacing with shift+enter, this will take me much longer If I do this for for every item. Is there a possible solution to resolve this? Thank you Link to comment

derricksrandomviews
I have run into this too with text I have copied. I found that if I copy it to wordpad from my word processor first and from there to my site, I don't get the extra spaces. Edited February 15, 2021 by derricksrandomviews Link to comment
