CSS not running on pages within an index

Per the subject, my code works when I drag my page outside of the index page, but then when I drag it back into the index the code stops working. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Also the template is brine burke

Here is one example. Again it works when the page is not in an index, but I drag the page into an index and it doesnt work anymore.
