Background Video Audio

I am trying to play the background video music as soon as the site opens up. I have injected the following code in both the footer and header. On the edit site in squaresace it will show the video auto playing with the sound as well just how i want it. However, when I visit the actual site the video disappears. Can someone help please?

I got the icons inserted but they aren't active/don't work. Anyone have an idea to troubleshoot this? Thanks!
