Under Om, how do I change my event date text color?

Hello. I want to change the text color for the date/location seen under the event title. Unless I am mistaken, the Om template doesnt seem to allow it. Please let me know if you can help. Thanks so much! 

Add to Home > Design > Custom CSS

time.summary-metadata-item.summary-metadata-item--date {
    color: red;
}
span.summary-metadata-item.summary-metadata-item--location a {
    color: green !important;
}
