MBollman
We have an AWS CloudFront distribution in front of our Squarespace site that directs certain routes here, and others to our app hosted at AWS. Using this accepted answer on Stack Overflow (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/36346497/what-settings-are-required-to-put-aws-cloudfront-cdn-in-front-of-a-squarespace-w/36636892#36636892) I got this working fairly easily. The problem now, which is also mentioned in 2 comments on this accepted answer, is our users frequently see "504 - The request could not be satisfied" errors when requesting Squarespace routes. Routes that go to our app are never a problem. When I contacted AWS with a CloudFront request ID, they responded with: "After analyzing the provided request ID. I found that the request failed when CloudFront: 64.xxx.xxx.149 trying to connect Origin Server: 198.xxx.xxx.144:443. Request attempted 3 times with 10 second for each attempt then failed after 30 second and then returned error code 504." Has anyone experienced this issue, and do you have any recommendations about how you solved it? Thanks for any guidance you can provide! Link to comment
