Squarespace Store, Sales Tax, Square POS and Inventory

I need to accomplish several things and not really sure of the best way to go about it and could really use some help/advice.

I live in MA and sell product in person in MA, NY, VT (and some other states) and desire to sell online.

I have a Squarespace Website with a (new) Squarespace e-commerce store (no sales yet).

I  have Square as my POS with an iPad, Square stand, bar code reader and printer.

Square POS is able to keep my inventory and set sales tax rates on a per product basis (this is something I MUST have). I'm used to it and I love it.

Square POS does not integrate with Squarespace webscommerce store.

In Squarespace you cannot set sales tax on a per-product basis. If that's something that you must have, Squarespace is not suitable for you. There are no workarounds.

Actually you can use Square POS with a Squarespace website, but that's probably not much help to you, given the sales tax issue.

If you are already using Square POS, have you looked at Square Online Stores?

You can also look into using Trunk to integrate Square POS and Squarespace. This allows you to keep things separate while still keeping your stock levels/inventory in sync between the two.
