Hi!

We're sorry you don't try our Google Reviews plugin. Could you please tell us why you didn't like our free plan?
Elfsight offers fully-featured Lite plan with no limitations in functionality ot customization settings. Moreover, there's no any time restrictions, so you can use as longer as you need. There's views limit, but if there won't be enough you can always upgrade it for the subscription plans with rather low costs.

Anyway, if you are interested in using our plugins or if you have any difficulties how to add Google reviews to your website or any other questions - feel free to contact us. We'll be happy to find the solution exactly for your use case.

Best regards,
Elfsight Team

Would you consider raising views to at least 1,000 per month?

@Sebbo
Unfortunately, and now we can't raise views to 1,000 per month and there are some key reasons why:

We, as a company, spend a lot of resources on maintaining and support of free widget accounts:

- Elfsight is a cloud-based service. Our team is managing all backend questions like loads on the servers or working with APIs. Thanks to that we provide all our clients with great loading speed and lifetime automatic updates.

- The professional Elfsight support team is always ready to help our clients with installation and settings, no matter what subscription plan you have, even if it’s a free Lite plan.

So as you see, we spend lots of time and money not to limit the users of Lite plan and provide them with all features and other perks of the Elfsight service.

Thanks for your understanding!

Best regards,
Elfsight Team

So, does your Elfsight code plugin require a specific plan with Squarespace to work? I tried to plug it in and the code was rejected because my plan doesn't support Javascript or iframes - which i find odd. Any ideas here?

Hi @tuuluuwag

Thanks for the question!

Unfortunately, it is not our code that requires some kind of specific plan for Squarespace, but Squarespace's free plan does not support the function of adding HTML code. Therefore, it is probably better to ask the Squarespace support specialist about this. Perhaps they'll help you with your use-case.

If HTML (or Javascript/iframes) are available due to your current Squarespace plan, but you still have an issue with the Elfsight plugin, don't hesitate to contact our Support Team. We'll be delighted to check everything for you.

Elfsight Team

Hi @Mays👋

If you have online business without physical address, you should use Google Maps Embed code. This article will guide you through all the steps - https://help.elfsight.com/article/164-ways-to-set-your-google-place-in-elfsight-google-reviews-widget.

However, if it didn't help, please send us your Business Name and Address. We'll be happy to help!

You will need to use script code (Business Plan/higher), if you use Personal Plan, no way to add reviews automatically, you can do it manually (I meant copy reviews - paste to site with Text Block or List Section or Summary..)

I have a business plan so how do I do it?

Use this Elfsight Google Reviews (affiliate link) or this link (non-affiliate link), just click link > choose a template > Enter Business Name/Address >> Customize the layout + reviews > Save > Register a free account > Publish >> They will provide an embed code > Edit page (Squarespace) where you want to add reviews > Add a Code Block > Paste this code
