More than 250 images in gallery/summary-block with "Lazy Summary"

Recommended Posts

Hello,

does anybody know how to add more than 250 images to a summary block with the plugin Lazy Summary? At the moment I use the summary to show images from a gallery. But there is even the limitation of 250 images for gallery pages. So therefore I cannot add more than 250 images to a summary even with Lazy Summary or am I wrong? Is there maybe an option to show images from more than one gallery in the summary?

Hello, @raffaelwais

Unfortunately, we have come across a similar problem, and we were advised that Squarespace "restricts pages to 250 items for performance reasons". So even if you were to have a blog collection, which does not have a collection limit for the amount of posts, any collection page will—at maximum—only ever show 250. To show more data beyond this, you will have to implement a solution which uses pagination.

And unfortunately SQS pagination is not working correctly. it render same items from first page on other pages even if you're using the correct offset.

Also SQS need to think about having a support for developers since it opens their collections (Blogs, calendars, products..) to be parsed using JSON.
