Add CTA button on mobile header (BRINE)

Hi guys, I'm trying to create a button on my mobile site's header. 
I've created a button on desktop and inside the mobile menu using styling of the 2nd navigation element.  Now I'd like to have this button out on the mobile header.

I used to do for a client. 

but his situation is a bit different.
He can add a search icon to the header, then I use CSS to turn it into a button, and jQuery to change the search link.
