Image Caption/title below image in gallery

Recommended Posts

Hi,  I'm trying to find a template with a grid gallery layout where I can display the image title description below the image. I've been testing Foster and from the demo site and what squarespace says I should be able to move the titles below the images but I see no option to do that. I'm an artist and I can't have the title and description covering up my artwork. I currently use Avenue and am switching because I can not make the gallery a grid and the images are too big. I need to be able to display the images in a grid several next to each other with the title/description below so it is easy for people to scroll through when I submit for shows etc. If it's too much work people will get annoyed and move on. I feel like this should be simple but am stuck.

I am having the same issue as Kekaapcke. I am trying to add a description under my images of specific shipwrecks. I can fill a description on the editing portion, but it does not appear to guests. People want to know what shipwreck they are looking at and what body of water it is in. I feel this should be much more simple than what it is. It is the largest complaint I am receiving on my site. Please help.
