Bank of America Payment Processing

Hey all,

I recently spoke with a business manager at Bank of America, and she told me that they provide 100% liability coverage payment processing, but squarespace blocks this feature due to their exclusive deal with stripe and paypal. 

Has anyone else tried to implement this feature? Is there some sort of workaround? 

All of my support chats with squarespace end with the same lines, saying that this feature may or may not be implemented, but I just want a clear cut answer. Because otherwise I might have to look elsewhere for website hosting. I don't want to leave obviously but this is incredibly frustrating to deal with.

You're never going to get a clear cut answer as Squarespace doesn't release any type roadmap and nobody on the forum has any more information then you do.

What I will say is don't pick a platform that isn't right for you on the hope that a feature may or may not come sometime in the future. It took years and years for Squarespace just to add PayPal, that was about 2 years ago now and there hasn't been any more payment providers added to the platform since. So in my honest opinion I would be surprised if Squarespace introduced support for Bank of America processing.

Again, if Squarespace isn't the right platform for you then don't force it upon yourself. Go with what makes the most sense to you.
