All my DNS settings show OK but the site appears as "not found". Is this simply because I need to wait until all changes propagate or is there another problem? I suppose I'm confused by the disconnect between everything being green and the site still not working. Thanks!

To reduce the amount of data that is moved around the work, much internet traffic is 'cached' or temporarily stored. For this reason, if you've visited the domain name recently, before it was connected, your internet provider is probably showing the last version of the site. If you clear all your caches, the new site may appear sooner. In the meantime, you'll probably find that the site works if you try if from another device that isn't using the same internet provider. For example, a phone on a 4G connection, rather than a computer on home WiFi.
