Phil_912E
Hello to everybody my name is Phil. My Question is how I could add a text overlay to my homepage that allows the text to remain static while i scroll up/down the page. It should be possible to click the text from the overlay. The scrolling background doesn't necessarily have to be clickable. If anybody could give me the Code for that I would be very very thankful. 😊 Attached you see two statuses of the idea. The grey boxes demonstrate images. Link to comment
MagneM
@Phil_912E Hi Phil, The text in your first image is the default position. Use enter/return on your keyboard to move the text vertically. Both will remain 'static' while you scroll up/down the page. To create a text link, learn how:https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/206543827 (If your template supports 'parallax scrolling' make sure it's disabled in Site Styles) Link to comment
Phil_912E
Hi MagneM, thank you for your answer. What I want is that the Text is always centered but on top of the Content. The second picture shows the page when it is a bit scrolled down. The text should not linked to every picture. Independently as a separate level. I hope you know what I mean. 🙂 Link to comment
MagneM
@Phil_912E Oops .. 🙂 Assuming it's an index page you can add a section with a text link, eg h2, and use this CSS: h2 a { bottom: 50vh; position: fixed; z-index: 10; border-bottom: none; } (In Site Styles do not apply the minimum height to all pages). If it does'nt work, share a link to your website and which template. Also tag some experts, like @tuanphan etc. Link to comment
