Text on poster overlapping on mobile site

Recommended Posts

Hello,

New user to squarespace with little knowledge of custom css. I've happily finished designing my site and naively thought it would easily translate to mobile. I'm getting text overlap (I've used the poster image feature to create solid blocks of colour with text on top) and other text coming up in the wrong places.

Is there anything I can do to keep the desktop design as I am very happy with it? If anyone can advise much appreciated. I am using sonora template.

Hey, pink color is IMAGE?

I think if you use Text Block, then I send code to create pink background, it will be easier.

Fix overlap that image on mobile need a lot of code.

Hello! I have the same problem.

I have some poster images and in computer view it looks perfect, but in mobile view the text appears above and below.

I have tried to put it as a text block with a colored background, although the columns do not fit me the same.

I don't mind using one option or the other. You would only need the columns to be at the same height, with the beige background and the text to be adjusted in the mobile view.

Could you help me? Thank you!

Similar problem here... I'm using a poster image with text, which looks fine on desktop and mobile, but the text overlaps outside of the image on breakpoints in between desktop and mobile (like smaller laptops and tablets.) Does anyone have any general information on why this happens? I'm not looking for specific code to fix it, just an understanding of why it could happen.

Thanks!
