Deleting and re-adding the block AGAIN now, but this issue needs to be fixed Squarespace – not good enough. Actually – just added the block again, after reconnecting my Instagram account in the Settings area and the block is STILL NOT up to date … very frustrating. Quote Tips and limitations Keep in mind: Instagram doesn't support filtering posts in Instagram blocks by a search term or hashtag. If you connect a private Instagram account to an Instagram block, posts will appear in the block but lead to a dead link when clicked. To avoid this, set your Instagram account to public. Instagram posts with multiple images or videos display the first item as a static image in Instagram blocks. In the design tab of the block editor, check Open links in new window to link visitors to the full post. Instagram blocks don't support IGTV posts, Stories, or Reels. Link to comment

My Instagram widget is basically unchanged since I added the block back in March last year and it's super frustrating; I've noticed the issue on other Squarespace sites too. If the issue persists after doing this, please contact Squarespace Customer Care. Forum users don't have access to the required tools to resolve an issue permanently. ADW Posted May 19, 2023 Share Posted May 19, 2023 Anyone know how to get your Instagram feed (inserted into page as a gallery block) to update automatically? I've fixed it once by deleting it and disconnecting then reconnecting the whole account to my Squarespace but would rather not do this again.. Link to comment
