DevonHarris Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 I'm having trouble bringing the date category in-line with a text category. As you can see on my form (which was made within the Brine family of templates), I was able to put two text categories in line, as well as two date categories at the bottom, but have thus far been unsuccessful in bringing the short-text "Name" and date "Birthday" fields together 😞 . While I'm on the topic, is there a way to target radio or dropdown fields to bring them in-line, if I choose to do so? I'm hoping you can assist!
paul2009 Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 Can you provide a working link to the page? It makes it easier for the community to respond without having to build a duplicate of your form. DevonHarris Posted December 10, 2019 Author Posted December 10, 2019 https://www.weddingsbylandowtravel.com/upcomingweddings/moriahandadrian click on "requesting a quote" 🙂 I also have another form on the website that the same rule could be applied to, so I'm eager to figure out a fix to this, thank you so much!!
DevonHarris Posted December 12, 2019 Author Posted December 12, 2019 hey @paul2009 wondering if you had a chance to take a look?
paul2009 Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 I took a quick look but there are some errors in your code (curly quotes instead of straight ones) that you might want to take a look at first. DevonHarris Posted December 17, 2019 Author Posted December 17, 2019 hey @paul2009, could you be more specific? I updated it but now it just looks weird. Anytime I try to align the date field with a field besides another date, the vertical alignment gets all messed up, not sure why...I even tried applying vertical-align: center and vertical-align: middle to the first block for the Name, and it didn't change anything. In fact, the margin-right isn't even being reflected when I update the page. 😫😱

They cannot be smart, curly or slanted (’ and “). In the header injection area you have tried to add some styles and some jQuery but each section has these types of quotes that are causing errors and preventing the code from running. If you are unsure how to correct the errors, it would be better to remove it altogether as it may prevent other code from running. Me: I'm Paul, a SQSP user for >18 yrs & Circle Leader since 2017.
