FORMS - Get rid of Address line 2

Recommended Posts

Hi!! 🙂

I was wondering if there is any way to customize SquareSpace's forms,

I do not like the fact that it asks for a second address line as they is not needed for my website.

What's more, if there any way to customize the address to only ask for a city? Or for the phone number to be in one box?

Thank you in advance!!

Yeah! here is the form: https://penguin-roadrunner-4c8m.squarespace.com/book-a-service

Password is: Skyfall77

If it is optional field, add to Home > Design > Custom CSS

div#block-yui_3_17_2_1_1574967150378_10732 .field.address2 {
    display: none;
}

@tuanphan How did you come up with that? I would like to delete that second line as well but don't know how to do it.  Thank you!

Might someone be able to help me figure out the same for my own site? I'm trying to minimize my address fields to only Address Line 1, City, Zip. I've plug in some code I found on this forum to auto-populate the country field, but that isn't my ultimate goal. I'd like to remove the country, state and address line 2 from the form entirely. The form in discussion is located here: www.BrendaEmily.com/bakedbybren-order

Thank you in advance!

unfortunately the link to your post doesn't work.

Squarespace made changes to the form validation process, requiring Address fields to include a valid City, State/Province and Country, regardless of whether these were relevant to your situation. For example, here's what happens when you hide the State and Country fields:

As the post was no longer accurate I removed it to avoid confusion, especially for new users. If you can describe the changes you want to make, I'll explain whether these are possible/advisable. 🙂
