paul2009 Posted July 30, 2020 Share Posted July 30, 2020 (edited) You can change your first order number, but you cannot change the way that they increment for each consecutive order. For example, your first order could be set to 9901 instead of 00001, but the following orders would be 9902, 9903, and so on. This is because there are tax rules in many territories that require order/invoice numbers to be sequential without gaps. I didn't know that I need to set the first order number and allow the system to continue it in sequence. I do not want a 0001, 0002, 0003 as my orders before commerce have reached hundreds. So can I reset these 3 order sequences and begin with a new number? Thanks Link to comment

You can not change existing order numbers. You can change future ones. Settings > Cart & Checkout > Next order number. Find my contributions useful?
