Guest
I recently pointed my 1&1 registered domain, masonsmn.com, away from justhost where I had a wordpress site built toward my new site/removals constructed using squarespace. I would like to view a few pages of the old site as they were previously (i.e. I messed up. In hindsight a few screenshots then would have been a good idea). Does anyone know how I can access those wordpress pages at this point? Thanks, Link to comment
tuanphan
@Noshairwankhan If you use Windows, access to hosts file at C > Windows > System 32 > drivers > etc > edit "hosts" file then insert these line to last line in hosts file ip address of old host yourdomain eg If your site at justhost has IP: 123.456.789 and domain: masonsmn.com, then you will type 123.456.789 masonsmn.com It will temporarily connect your domain name to WordPress in the old Hosting at justhost (only works on your computer). And you can access WordPress. Email me if you have need any help (free, of course.). Answer within 24 hours.
