heykaila
I am looking to customize an order email - specifically order confirmed & fulfilled, based on which product my customer has purchased. I have a client who is selling a subscription based package. Once the customer orders, they are to receive an email with a link to an instructional video on how to use the package. I am hoping that I can save her a step in having to manually email her customers this link by being able to add the link directly to the order confirmed and order fulfilled email. Something like: {.if hasPhysicalProductId=xxxxx} You will find your instructional video tutorial for {ProductName} here: www.linktopagewithvideo.com {.end} {.if hasPhysicalProductId=ccccc} You will find your instructional video tutorial for {ProductName} here: www.linktopagewithvideo.com {.end} There is obviously the chance that someone could buy multiple products so I need to be able to repeat the statement multiple times and would prefer to put the product name within the sentence so they know which link is specific to which product. Any help would be very appreciated! Thanks, Kaila Link to comment
Savvy
I don't have any answers here but I am letting you know that I'm researching the same question for a client, except I am looking to send out a custom discount code depending on the product purchased. Hoping someone has a solution! Link to comment
Omari
I currently use Convertkit (aff) for this. They have a built in integration that syncs with the commerce API allowing you to tag customers based on the product they purchased and automate the follow up. Here's what it looks like. Savvy
@Omari, thanks so much, this tool looks super helpful! Curious, do you have any advice for being able to build automations based on a specific variety of the product? I have a product, Phone Consultation, with 2 options, 15 minutes and 30 minutes. Depending on whether or not the customer purchases a 15- or 30- minute consultation, my client would like to send a specific discount code for future purchases. Do you know if there is a way to build an automation based on a specific product variation? Seems like I can choose a generic product but not a specific variation. Thanks so much for your help! Omari
@savvy This solution doesn't let you tag at the variant level. The first thing that comes to mind in that scenario is to use Acuity since it's made for booking. Founder - SqspThemes.com Link to comment
Savvy
@Omari I think what I'll do is split the phone consultation into two separate products. This is a strange client who refuses to use a booking tool, haha. So I think I'll go with that work-around. Appreciate your help so much! Link to comment
siweisong
I would like to know if there's a way to hide the shipping/delivery related information on the customer notification email template? All of the products on the online store are for pick-ups only Link to comment
