Hide Social Media Icons from Main Navigation

Recommended Posts

Currently social media icons show up in the header with the main navigation. When I select to hide the icon, it doesn't allow me to use the icon anywhere else on the site. I only want these icons to occur in certain pages and not a part of the main navigation. Any ideas of CSS or magic configurations of settings?

This depends on which template you’re using and how the icon was added. If you post a link, someone can help you out.

In some of the templates, you’d go to Design > Site Styles. When you are in that section, click on the social media icon in your header, then you’ll see the option to hide it from navigation.  But that’s only some of the templates.

Hi @lstrauss831, my go to template is any from the Brine family. I did a restaurant website on Brine and it was great! Social media icons are available in the navigation for Brine family templates. Also, if you’re ready to dive into the 7.1 template, social media is available in the navigation there as well. Best of luck with your website!
