Custom background image in brine template?

Hello! I am trying to get a site wide background image for by site. Nothing I have found has worked. I am in the brine mojave template. 

Can you share link to your site?

Been looking through articles - the home page is index page, not sure if this affects but I've tried several CSS snippets and nothings worked. 

I have this affect in another site and stole the code and it didn't work either.

I see your homepage had background img. Do you still need help on this?

Still have the issue, I've just made banner background images for certain sections. Would ideally like one graphic so it can flow nicely!
