Promo/discount code in URL

Hi,

I'd like to have an embedded discount code and User ID to track the users and discounts of people who were referred by a partner/referral website.

Something like: 

https://store.com/products/our-best-product?referral=[DISCOUNT]&cdata=[CUSTID]

I've looked for some info in the help guides but could not find anything.

This really needs to happen.

contact their customer care and put this in as a feature request. i wouldn't hold my breath, though. from what i've seen around here and from experience, SQSP could care less about what its actual customers need or even get simple, expected features in an e-commerce system added in a timely manner.

Bump. I too would love to see this feature added--exactly what I'm trying to do. Has anyone discovered any workarounds in the meantime? Or is this just too complex to do without Squarespace's adding support for it?
