Brine Template: How to make header transparent with full banner?

I am using the Brine template, And I'm not seeing any options to create a transparent navigation header and add a full-size banner image. I am trying to re-create this site, which says uses the Brine template as well. I'm not seeing any styling options to mimic this site header/homepage style. Any help is much appreciated!

Ah ok, didn't realize you have to set the elements to 'bottom--'. Not very clear

In site styles, under the "Header: Layout" section, move all the elements to the bottom positions - mine are shown on attached screenshot
