Adding more fields to the promotional pop up

Hi! Is it possible to add more fields to a promotional pop up other than just email? I'd like to add a "name," "city," and "state" field (also to the footer). I tried adding a form with the lightbox option, but when I tested it, the contact wouldn't show up in mailchimp (waited 30 minutes).

My website: refractedco.com

If anyone knows what to code/other tools that might be a work around, let me know!

This isn’t possible on the promotional popup due to the limited space available on the mobile version. If you prefer to capture more information, add a button to the popup that links to a page on your site where the full form is available.

This problem was solved in the past by embedding a Mailchimp pop-up into my Squarespace site. Is that no longer an option? I now see only native Squarespace promotional pop-ups, and the lack of a second field to collect zip codes is really frustrating. I don't actually see a way to add a button. Where do I find that?

I tried changing the layout on the Squarespace pop-up to the only layout option on display that has buttons rather than an email field, but it's not working -- when that new layout displays with my text and photo, the button is gone and the email field is still there.

Hi @pinkertonraid I am trying to embed a mailchimp pop-up into my squarespace site -- I have created the pop-up in mailchimp, but am unsure of WHERE to place the code, so that it can pop-up on any of my site pages? Also, did you manage to make it so that visitors who have already subscribed via your MailChimp pop-up, don't get the pop-up anymore? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

go to settings, then advanced, then inject code you get from the mailchimp site or simply go to your mailchimp account and integrate it with your squarespace and click publish from mailchimp, this way you won't need to embed the code

I have the same issue. I use Squarespace's email account (no mailchimp), and they actually give you a way to insert your subscriber's first name into the email (e.g. in the greeting). So you would think they would give you a way to collect those first names. Has anyone found a way to make this work using the Squarespace email?

Also, another issue is I link my newsletter subscribers to a Google Sheet, and the pop-up form is not linking the email address to my spread sheet, but instead I'm only getting the time of entry. I have to find the email address in my squarespace subscriber list and enter it by hand on the spread sheet.

A recent solution I used was to insert Newsletter Block, then use jQuery to convert it into Popup

is there an ability to submit this for an idea for Squarespace to consider?

To make a feature request, please contact Squarespace Customer Care using a support ticket (choosing any category). Squarespace employees don't routinely monitor this forum for feedback (see the guidelines - item 6).

Here it is four years later and still no implementation of additional fields into the promotional popup. I did contact customer care to inquire and was just given this as a response:

"I can confirm that it isn't possible to add other fields to the promotional pop-up outside of email address... We don't currently offer that feature, but I've sent your suggestion to our development team on your behalf. While we can't guarantee implementation of every suggestion, customer feedback is an important part of how we continue to improve our platform, so we appreciate your input.
