transfer Possible to transfer gallery to 7.1?

I have a client interested in updating their site to 7.1. Haven't had much time to look into everything, but I was hoping someone could offer insight into the possibilities of transferring a couple galleries. I'd do it by hand, but each one has 250 images, so it seems pretty daunting. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!🤙
