Squarespace 7.1 - Linking navigation folder to first item in the folder

Hello. Same problem here. We NEED a landing page for our site to be directly accessible via the menu item. How is this still not fixed? It's ridiculous that we'd need to have a menu item that says, say, SERVICES and right underneath it another menu item saying SERVICES. Squarespace, how about offering a solution to this without having to hire a separate developer for each and every paying customer asking for it?

If you could help me with this, that would be great! I have managed to make my Services page clickable and is linked to my All page, however now, I don't want the All page to be visible.

You want to hide "All" in Services dropdown?

When I move 'All' to 'Not Linked', when you click on 'Services' it goes straight to 'Brand Strategy' as that is what is below it

Hi. It looks like you solved this? When I click Services, it redirects to All

I just now want to remove the 'All' from the dropdown menu?

Add to Design > Custom CSS

/* Hide All in Services folder */
a.header-nav-folder-title[href="/services"] + div>div:first-child {
    display: none;
}

Can you explain this solution? I did not get it!

<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://hulo.dev/plugins/folder-title-link/folder-title-link.css">

Shall I paste it as it is?

I think you need to add it to Code Injection > Header

Ah, so this is only possible for Business and Commerce plans: https://www.squareaddons.com/clickthrough-link-for-the-folder-title-access, bc of the code injection need?

I'd love to be able to have folks who do decide to click Pastimes to be able to view a pastimes page.

so are you saying that there is no way to have a clickable navigation menu (with sub menus) without a business plan? its either:

1: only have one navigation menu (no submenus)

2: pay quite a bit extra per year to have a " business plan "

But that's such basic user friendliness! I've never seen a website where you have to hover and then click on sub menu items- thats such a bad format. Disappointing from squarespace!

Did you end up just upgrading? I noticed your site nav works the way you want it to now

No upgrade, you still can solve this, but doesn't really good. If you still need help, we will give the solution

Yes, please let me know what solution you have. I have a Personal page: https://iamjamesmartin.com

and would like the "Pastimes" URL in the navigation to be clickable and link to a specific page. For now, the code can include /About and I can edit that with the real link later. Thank you!!!
