My background video is too zoomed in

I'm making a personal webpage and have tried many different ways to put up a background video, but each time that I do it zooms in automatically, so much so that the front page of my webside is a giant, pixelated video where you cannot see what is going on. How can I upload a background video for my website that can be seen (preferably not zoomed in)? Please help!

I'm having the same issue with a video on our webpage. I've remade the video several times with more whitespace around the edges, but it still zooms in. Very frustrating!

I deleted that section altogether and put in a new blank section to which I uploaded the video again. This time it was sized perfectly. I have no idea why, but deleting the section and starting over seemed to work.

I have this problem on my homepage, does anyone have a fix?

I have been having the same problem. I deleted the blank section and added a video section instead (the one with the video across the width of the screen). The video sizing worked perfectly with that and I  could add in my block elements over the video
