I apologize if this is a silly question, but I am using Brine's Nueva template and when I first started making my Navigation Bar was a transparent overlay over my banner. I'm not sure what I did, but my navigation bar is now solid and my banner doesn't reach the top of the screen. It looks really funky, because instead of having my banner underneath there is just the solid colour of my main page's background. Is there any way to fix this? When I scroll down (due to parallax scrolling, it gives me the desired effect and looks a lot better) I've attached pictures to illustrate what I'm talking about. The solid blue is what I don't like.
