ashleegadd
I am desperate to get all of my e-mail marketing out of Mailchimp and into Squarespace but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do an automated e-mail campaign where people receive an e-mail every time a new blog post is published. Is this possible? I basically want to create a template that is populated and triggered by an RSS feed. Like this: https://us11.campaign-archive.com/?e=95ace6cb16&u=40a022775bd326fb61d6fd9e4&id=e97973261b I run a collaborative blog that publishes essays 3x a week. How can I sync our new content with an e-mail campaign? Some people prefer to read via e-mail ... tanyacamp 1 Link to comment
SnazzyView
There's not really an automation feature as such but you can turn a blog post into an email campaign but you have to send it yourself. https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001280668#toc-turn-a-full-blog-post-into-a-campaign snazzyview.com Link to comment
MattBrodie
I'm in need of this same solution. It's the only thing keeping me on Mailchimp. Has there been any updates on ways to do this? Link to comment
alanranger
I agree and in the same position to get off Mailchimp. Can't believe SS doesn't have a trigger for new blog post still to automate a marketing / email campaign Link to comment
Braehead
I'd also be interested in this. On my old GoDaddy site new blogs were emailed out immediately on publication. Also - I'm new to SS having moved over from GoDaddy. Any idea why SS want me to enter business and tax details in order to send an email? I'm not a business and I don't want to use my home address. SS suggest buying a PO Box!!! Link to comment
tanyacamp
Hey all! I was looking for a solution for this as well, and I think I've found it! If you click on the Share tab of the Blog Post Settings there is a Create Email Draft option (see my screenshot) and when you click that it imports the post content into a draft email campaign. You can edit the email, and then send. It would be really nice if it could be automated though, @Squarespace! But it's better than nothing? Link to comment
