Decreasing Section Padding Squarespace 7.1

Recommended Posts

Another padding issue.

I'd like my mobile view to display the same amount of spacing around the slideshow as my desktop view.  Not sure why ANYone would want such a silly looking gap on mobile...

See screenshots of desktop vs mobile.  Highlighted the gap.

Thanks for any help!

@EkoCrateJordan

Add the following to Page Settings > Advanced > Page Header Code Injection for the page with the gallery on it.

<style>

  .gallery-slideshow {

    height : calc( 15vh + 22vw ) !important;
    padding-bottom : 0;
    padding-top : 0;

    }

  </style>

This is for v7.1 and specific to the poster's need.

Let us know how it goes.

Not working with suggested code. I did have success with this though (currently on http://ekocrate.com):

<style>
  .gallery-slideshow {
    padding-top: 0vh !important;
}
</style>

Still too much space on the bottom, any suggestions? When I inserted this it broke (currently on http://ekocrate.com/home-2):

<style>
  .gallery-slideshow {
    padding-top: 0vh !important;
    padding-bottom: 0vh !important;
}
</style>

Thanks, Jordan

@tuanphan I am trying to get rid of the 30.8 pixel padding on between my image and the "Contact Us" text on the following page "https://deatonguideservice.com/contact".

I have tried the following code in the page header code injection with no luck:

[data-section-id="60a29841a6ff1a19855c92b4"].content-wrapper{
    padding-top: 0px !important;
  }

any help would be greatly appreciated

I can't get my section padding to budge with any of the code. Waaay too much space between them - I find these Sections to just not be flexible enough for practical use. The whole reason I'm doing it is because I can't add a separate title and subtitle before the sections themselves.

@tuanphan Thank you, I just implemented this code with success on a (not yet live) site I'm working on with a row of three images across the page that abut the footer. In my case I'm looking for 0px of padding around all 4 sides and it appears to be working. Only thing is, the white padding still appears around the images in mobile (when they become single-column). Any ideas? Screenshots of desktop vs. mobile attached, not sure if these are helpful.

I've tried to follow some of the code options here but I am having a hard time finding a solution to my image padding issue. I would like to have no padding for the section in yellow, bringing the graphic on the right to the bottom of that section with no bg color at the bottom. Any ideas?

@tuanphan  do you know the code to change the padding on a scheduling block? it seems to add a lot of blank space at the bottom.

Can you share link to page where you added scheduling block?
