Nick.Loubser
Hello @tuanphan I'm currently trying to figure out a way to make a website friendly towards a client base that is divided into 3 different language groups - English, French and Chinese. Currently, english is not a problem as t's the default language on Squarespace, but I am wondering if anyone has any ideas around how to switch between languages or translate headings and text through a hover function? For example, the perfect situation would be if a client who lands on the home page could scroll down the page and hover over a heading to read it in their native language or have a heading flick through three different translations on hover but the default is english when navigating away. The other option (if there is one) would be to have a line of code that translated the website automatically on any browser base one where they're searching from... Is this possible?! I hope this is clear, but please ask questions if you have any suggestions. Link to comment

For example, in the attachment I sent, how would I make "Intellectual Property Management" change colour or invert colours the user scrolls down the page and hovers over each section? Cheers, Link to comment
tuanphan
@Nick.Loubser You can use custom code (CSS) to change color on hover, with css class-name:hover {color: #fff;} Need site url to check exactly code. Email me if you have need any help (free, of course.). Answer within 24 hours. Or send to forum message Contact Customer Care - Learn CSS - Buy me a coffee (thank you!) Link to comment

Ok, cool - Would this go into the custom CSS section or into the Navigation Title area within the individual page settings? Link to comment

colin.irwin
I don't think hovering to translate is a good solution because it won't work on touch devices such as tablets and phones.
