Website Design Review - Constructive Feedback Appreciated

Hello Everyone,

I am new to the Squarespace Answers Forums so I apologize if I labeled the topics wrong. I built out my website using the Brine Template and tried hard to give it a unique look and feel. I know that websites are always a work in progress but I would love some of the more advanced users on here to take a look at it and let me know how to make it look even less like a Squarespace template.

I'm currently not paying for the Business Plan to add my own code. If you think it is worth the upgrade in order to make the website look more polished then I will look into upgrading.

I appreciate any feedback, thoughts, ideas, and tips you have for me.

Also, the help topics said that Squarespace updates the site map within 24 hours so I can upload the XML file to Google but it has not updated in a long time and still includes old links I have trashed.
