Is there a way to hide or delete several products at once?

Our online shop is populated with products that are only available during a specific time frame, and then they need to come down. I know we can schedule them to be visible at a specific time, but is there a way to schedule them to come down all at once? or is there a way to delete or hide products that are tagged with a specific category all at once? It is so cumbersome to hide them all individually.Thanks
