Upcoming events missing in back-end but showing on front-end website?

Recommended Posts

I've created events using the "Duplicate Event" feature and it seems the original event from which I duplicated from no longer appears on the list of events that I see when logged into my site as an admin (back-end). However, when access the events page using an incognito window all the events show perfectly. See photo attached, noticed the first event showing on the webpage is September 23 but the first event on the "Upcoming Events" list is October 18.

Anyone have any ideas why it would disappear from the back-end but still show in the front-end?

Wow, so as a workaround, the only way to get the missing events to show was to SLOWLY scroll down the list of "Upcoming Events". (NOTE: I attempted this workaround by scrolling rapidly to the bottom of the list and it did not work, you need to scroll slowly like a normal person would when reading the events. I also tried waiting for 60-sec for the page to maybe "finish loading" the events, but it did not.)

As you slowly scroll, the list continues to load and populate and eventually, the back-end calls to the server also retrieves the missing events.

I have no idea what the root-cause of this is, nor the fix. However, this is the workaround I'm using to get by. Does anyone have a fix please?
