Why doesnt Google pick up my SEO description?

I wrote several blogposts on my site.I wrote both SEO descriptions and excerpts for my blogposts.

Still Google only shows the first sentence or sentences from the blogposts in the Serp.

Google does not show my SEO descriptions or excerpts which is bad for my SEO.

How can I fix that?

Hello, Dear, It is a nice question. IT may because if you are using a Cache plugin or cache system because when google is coming to read this it showing your cache meta tag so google crawl this. Or It may be because of the Yoast SEO plugin. because of Yoast gives to write two different meta for search engine and 2nd for people. This can happen because of google confuse what to show maybe I thought because of In some of my article google only crawled my 1 sentence of my Titel. website: happy New Year 2020
